Boyds Marriage Index has two entries for a marriage between John Sharp and Elizabeth Crone

1719 Lancaster John Sharp/Elz Crone
1720 Kirkham John Sharp/Elz Crone

Unfortunately I cannot find any other record of either marriage, nor can I find a birth for Elizabeth Crone. If I have the correct John Sharp he was born 1698 in Poulton le Fylde.

Can anyone see what I appear to be missing?

It appears that Anc, have made another boob. Years, 1719 - 1721 are missing from Bishops Transcripts for Lancaster, and year 1720 from Kirkham..

They cannot have been destroyed, or you'd have never found a clue.

Just goes to show that Anc, like fmp and probably other sites, tend to rely on fs for their information. Looking at the fs catalog for Kirkham and Lancaster, those years are also missing.

Thanks for looking, anyway.

Kirkham seems more likely than Lancaster as it is only 7 miles from Poulton le Fylde whereas Lancaster is about 19 miles away.

Looks like it's going to be one of those never to be found type of records. I've got a lot of those!
