States her father was born in Scotland.

24 November 1934
SARGINSON—FRASER Many friends showed a kindly interest in the wedding of Miss Sheila McDonald Fraser, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs William Fraser, of Avonside drive, to Mr Hugo L. K. Sarginson, youngest son of the Rev. and Mrs I. Sarginson, Bordesley street. The wedding was performed at the Leyden Street Congregational Church by the Rev. I. Sarginson, the bridegroom's father, and Mr K. HardwJckc was the organist. The church had been beautifully decorated by members of the congregation. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin, made with a long train. Her veil, which was embroidered with Scottish thistles, arranged from a wreath of orange blossom, had been worn by her mother. She carried a bouquet of white regal lilies, roses, and lily of the valley, with sprigs of while heather from Ross-shire, Scotland, the birthplace of the bride's father. Misses Fiona and Maire Fraser, nieces of the bride, were the attendants. They wore frocks of pastel green and pink taffeta respectively, and large picture hats to tone. Lemon and pink abutilons were arranged in their bouquets. Mr R. Lindsay was best man, and Mr Clyde Sarginson was groomsman. About 70 guests were entertained at the home of the bride's parents in Avonside drive. The bride's mother wore an ensemble of navy marocain, the frock being patterned in white, and a hat to match. Her bouquet was of orangetinted flowers. Mrs Sarginson wore a black silk ensemble with a patterned frock and hat of black Bangkok straw. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Later, when Mr and Mrs Hugo Sarginson left by car for the south, the latter was wearing a delphinium blue suit, a necklet of white fox fur, and a hat to match trimmed with a spray of shaded flowers.

Thanks gibbo.

With births in Scotland after 1855 there is no quick way to check which of 7 is correct so will leave it there for now.

Case closed for now.
