I found 3 brothers Humphrey Robert and John who demolished Sheffield Castle in 1649.

I think I have found Birthdates
Robert 1608
Humphrey 1614
John 1620

Humphrey married in 1637 to Alice Hobson
Robert married Isabel in 1633
John I can't find

What I am trying to do is to find if there is a link to John Shore born 1650 who married Sarah Sims and had a son Samuel in 1676.

There may be no link but John in 1650 was a stone Mason like the 3 brothers. Some Shore Trees have included Humphrey and Robert in the family tree but can't see why as can't find a direct link.

I found something that said Humphrey had a son John but I also found 2 different birth dates for John.

But the date 1650 makes more sense because his wife Sarah Sims was born around that date too.

I don't know Ralph. The Shores were said to have come from Dronfield but that makes no sense as Humphrey was definitely baptised in Sheffield as was Robert so why would family shift to Dronfield and back?

Well this was also there, but it's the only one:

Name: Joseph Shore
Baptism Date: 8 Jun 1651
Baptism Place: Saint Peter,Sheffield,York,England
Father: Homfrey Shore

Isn't it possible the three brothers had another brother??

Quite possibly. My main aim was to see if there was a direct link between the three brothers who demolished the castle and Samuel son of John Shore who built a Steel works on the castle site around 60 years later. Problem is when you go into civil war period there can be gaps in registers as I have found before. The reason being that the clergy kept getting thrown out of their church because either on King's side or on parliament's side.
