Its the 'Her' of the Cooper couple.
I am so proud for him and thanks for your encouragement Gibbo. As you'd know, he was an orphan at 2, so they did the bare necessities to keep kids like this alive and that meant NO ENCOURAGEMENT EVER!!!
At about 9 or 10 a teacher went around the room asking kids what they wanted to be, when he got to Glen he shared his hope of becoming an archaeologist.
My darling was then laughed at and told, "Cooper, you'll be lucky to stack shelves in Woolies".
So now at 56, his life begins.
As I said, I am proud for him, not proud OF him, as I am always that, but to start now to do something he has wanted to do his whole life is just amazing!
I applaud my little battler and I know he will achieve this with flying colours as his heart is already there... and so is mine, right beside his, till the day of graduation.
And so may the degree of my future Dr. Cooper one day be firmly wedged sideways up the left nasal cavity of that rotten teacher so long ago!
Go my beautiful Glen, your future awaits!
Hugs, Jude xx

Ha, I will for sure, infact if I can get it carved on splintery old wood, all the better, and as for questions, go your hardest!
He'll be back at the helm soon.

Hey jude
I was just wondering how long is the study for and do they get to do some hands on with some digs or all classroom work. To be able to go on a real dig would be brilliant.

gday gibbo it will take me 5 years first year will catch me up in subjects I'm behind in with some Archaeology thrown in. Yes I will go on digs.
This is something I've wanted to do all my life and I was packing it this morning
when I walked into the hall surrounded by what looked like a room of 12 year old
but once I started talking to the staff I felt at home.
