Morning Steve

I am back ! :2fun:

I was exhausted by the time I got back here in the afternoon. Someone woke everyone up at 6 am ( Oscar ). The flight was delayed yet again, so we didn't get in to Exeter until 2pm.

Great holiday cottage in the country, but we kept on getting lost in the country lanes.

Not much rest with the 2 grandchildren in tow, but at least we kept Oscar happy, but tiring for the rest of us !

Now , who has heard of Jersey BLACK BUTTER ???
Will let you know more after the Grand Prix. Last Sunday the foreman very kindly videoed the Grand Prix for Steven. He had not missed one live since 1984, but we gave him no option on holiday. He watched it when we got back to the cottage !!

Hey there
Have never heard of black butter, read the link cant say if i would like it:biggrin: toast and lots of normal butter and a little vegemite with a milo chaser is common in my house. But i do like my toast cold as well! I like good old fashioned uncle tobys oats cooked with some honey in it, yummy.

Do them terrace houses have some lawn or something, at least out the back yard?

Those ones do..or did....in the days when the bigwigs lived there they may have had a front garden too..albeit small...that is why so many great parks are still in London because people didnt have gardens and the great past time was walking in them....all those houses also have rooms underground.
