I'm guessing you have Solomon & co in 1901?
In the next census he is there with Mary Ann 46 living in Coventry rego area.
Frederick Arthur 22, Mabel Lilian 20, Evelyn Emily 17, Walter 14.

Thanks for the information. No - didn't emigrate. As far as I am aware he died in Bedworth where he was born and is buried. Might have a trip out to the cemetary there. Weird though that I can't find him or his wife.

Also Katie with a name like his....just a slim chance he may have had a Jewish burial?
Dont know your family history...but most oldish families with the name of Solomon has Jewish roots....just a thought,i hope you crack it.
