Not only do they need glasses, a brain would be good as well.
The Electoral Rolls on Ancestry are a real joke! the address is a guess at best and searching through 2 pages of fine print is a chore and when you do find the record it is nothing like the transcription(not that I can see)

Not easy finding people in census when Vavasseur is transcribed as Hardfseur or Navafsena.


I'm finding hundreds of errors in the transcriptions of the Australian Electoral rolls.

1937 NSW roll with Narrabeen transcribed as Mosman.

I have seen things like a 35 year old couple on the census transcriptions with a 63 year old son when the original actually says the son is 13.
