Hi all,

I'm struggling to find a walter spink. I'm not sure on where he was born, he married a lydia gray in sheffield i'm guessing. They had children, not really sure how many one called alan spink which is my partners grandad, he seems to think his grandad told him his dad was born in hull, yorkshire. Lydia died, and walter remarried, i'm not sure who to. I'd like to know where walter was born and who his parents were so that i could move forward with my search.

Looking at births to Walter & Lydia and their marriage...

and 1939 Register
Walter Spink dob 4 Nov 1882 widowed
Their first 3 children are named, others redacted.

He is widower age 39 on their marriage in March 1922 : father William Spink a Cutler (looking at Census he may well by John William or William John?)

Thank you for gettting back to me.
I was confused at first about walter spink, i didnt think he was born that early but working it out, it's right as he was late fourties when he had my partners grandad. Does it say anything about lydia gray? I can't find anything, it's like she doesnt exsist. The only thing ive found is their marriage certificate.

Been To Norton Cemetery Today, Photo of Spink Grave. 5 people buried in it. Walter Spink 1882-1957 was my wifes great grandad, he was married twice, Martha Littlewood in 1903 and them Lydia Gray in 1922. He Had 5 children to Martha & 9 to Lydia. Optimized-spink.jpg
