NSW Death 8832/1888 STARLING GEORGE AGE 59 YEARS DIED GLADESVILLE RYDE * 29 Oct 9 age 59

Looking for more info on those two, thanks.

This may not be the right person but a George Starling arrived in New South Wales in 1854 on board the 'Plantagenet'. He was aged 25 (yob c1829) and a groom, born St Osyth, Essex.

George Starling baptised 9 May 1830 parents John Starling and Mary Williams who married in St Osyth 23 April 1826

Father John died 1833 and in 1841 Mary and her children (including a couple born after John's death) are in Tendring Union Workhouse
Ref HO107/338/25/F31/p7

In 1851 George is working as a Groom for a John Norman in Colchester
Ref HO107/1781/F249/p15

Thanks emeltee.

I don't know yet. I have no occupation for the George in NSW. Main electoral rolls don't start until 1903. I can't find an obituary. Possible death in Gladesville Asylum, NSW. Some records may be on A...
