Enlisted for 57th foot, 25th November 1803
Discharged 1818 due to rheumatism and general debility brought on by fatigue and wound in right leg received on the 16th May 1811 at the battle of Albuhera.
He was 5ft 5, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion - a labourer by trade.
