Maybe a passenger list would give her age and where she is from to help confirm to eliminate her

I cant even find a marriage index for Barnes and Gordon

7626/1894 hunter joseph gordon susan young
7626/1894 plunker joseph gordon susan young

The system did it again.

I can't find a death for that Susan. Rule her out with this birth:

22385/1875 GORDON SUSAN WILLIAM MARY GRACE YOUNG

Can't find a death in NSW for Susie as GORDON.

I don't think it's this one in Qld:

1899/C1771 Whillans Robert - Gordon Susannah

Rule that one out - parents don't match - should be John & Maria.

Death 1950/B25210 Susannah Whillans - William Gordon - Mary Livingstone

Possible 2nd marriage in NSW:

4905/1902 MILLER JOHN J - BARNES SUSANNAH M - RICHMOND

Is that Richmond near Windsor/Penrith or Richmond River in northern NSW?

This death does not fit:

18256/1951 MILLER SUSANNAH MARY - WILLIAM - ELIZA - PARRAMATTA

MILLER Susannah Mary Death notice 13JUL1951 Death 91 at Fairfield West Sydney Morning Herald 16JUL1951

No death in NSW as MILLER with parents John & Maria.

3rd marriage? :D

6796/1935 DOUGLAS MILTON W - MILLER SUSANNAH M - WINDSOR

Or a death with parents who fit:

3536/1910 BOWEN SUSAN M - JOHN - MARIA - WAGGA WAGGA

Wagga and Cootamundra are not that far apart.

You sure? She would have been 83 :2fun::2fun:
I did put a ? meaning I am having problems finding a death - yes born 1852. ;)

Edward's death in 1900 is not in Ryerson.

Very few possible deaths in NSW assuming parents are listed as John & Maria using Susan and variations.

Another death to rule in or out:

14622/1930 BROUGHTON SUSAN - JOHN G L - MARIA - BURWOOD

Good. ;)

So can we rule out Susan Bowen?

I can't see a birth or marriage in NSW that fits.

I can't find a tree with Edward Barnes.

I just had a look to see if the Cootamundra cemetery is online to see if she could be there with Edward but couldnt find any online stuff:rolleyes:
No online stuff for Wagga that i could see neither. Thought if i could find the burial for the Susan Bowen if might have had age or something on the headstone maybe.
