It looks like "Mr." to me, but I cannot find them in 1841 to confirm.

They were both in NSW before 1841 census.

There are several on the page with occupation as 'Gentleman' but they have no prefix of 'Mr' so not sure.

The first letter does not look like 'H' on the page so not Hon. The 'H' in Brickfield Hill.

He was a member of parliament.
