Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. I'm not sure what the middle initial A is for. I certainly didn't expect to see them in Casino.

A son:

married (1) 1928 Sydney

Marion M HUDSON b. 1898 St Leonards

married (2) 1935 n Sydney

Gwynne PERDRIAU b. ? can't find d. 1938 n Sydney

Please see what you can find.

Thanks.

Hello crankypants,

There is only the one marriage in NSW for a Henry TIMMS to a Jane. This must be his death:

16613/1944 TIMMS HENRY ARCHER FREDERICK AMELIA GOSFORD

So far I can't find when or where Henry was born. Jane was born in Ballarat so I'm wondering if Henry was born in Victoria?

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Thanks.

Walter PERDRIAU (sometimes PERDRIAN) & Agnes are Gwynne's parents and Elma a sibling.

Parents married on 9 Dec 1886 at Canterbury and they had four daughters. No sign of a birth in NSW for Gwynne. Walter is a retired cyclist, tennis player, actor...

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave

There are 39 Elizabeth MARTIN’s in 1930. Going by where she died there is one at Werriwa, Woonona, she is with a James MARTIN, a Miner. Otherwise too many to determine which one is yours. Shame she doesn’t have a middle name. As her husband died before 1930 do you know of any children that may be living with her.?

Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much for looking. Oh, that's an impossible task with no middle name. One daughter that I can see who probably married before 1930 and I can't find her in ER with her spouse either.

21941/1904 MARTIN VIOLET L M FRANCIS L ELIZABETH GERMANTON

12367/1926 DE BROUGHE JOHN A MARTIN VIOLET L HAY

---------
I'd say an error in the ER for 1930 and that the barman 'Leslie' became the hotel keeper.

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. A bit of a puzzle. I can't find a death for Frederick so he may have died in Queensland. I'll get a check of the Qld. Death Index to 1964 one day.

Amy died in 1931 but spouse Thomas William didn't die until 1959.

Dave
