Hi!

I'm trying to track my great grandmother and I'm having problems! I can't find her in the 1901 census and I have found a birth record in 1894 but I'm not sure if it's her...

She marries John Redvers Elders in 1926, and he was born 1900, but obviously that's post the census data. It's possible she's from the Middlesborough area but my grandmother thinks she was possibly Irish and definitely Catholic.

If anyone could help that would be amazing!

If you need more info let me know; I've only just started family tree research but it's frustrating I can't find anything about her!

I could only find 3 births for a Teresa Wiseman in the free bmd. 2 have middle names and one didnt. Did your Teresa have a middle name? If not this may be her. Is this the same one you found?

Hello Lehane,

Using the free search facility on Find My Past, I have found Teresa Wiseman, aged 15, living in Middlesborough, in 1911.

Using Advanced Search, the other people in the household may be Katherine Wiseman, aged 50, Katherine Wiseman, aged 20 and William Wiseman aged 27.

It is possible to purchase a small number of credits at FMP, if you wish to view the census return.

Sorry, I am unable to find her in 1901!

On Free BMD search for a marriage. Put in Wiseman John then in date range put 1883, then search. There are several reults, click on the one for Sunderland
