The commoness of cousins with same names.

As I mentioned before the commonness of cousins with the same firstname and surname is quite large in genealogy. It can lead you on a merry dance. Two brothers who had a son or daughter at the same time often decided to give them the same name. Quite often they were baptised on the same day or registered within days of each other or on the same day.
