The Completly Wrong Family

Hi Everyone.
After feeling rather pleased with myself in finding out info on my Gran"s Fabily (Burrows) I find now that I"ve been researching the wrong family
Her name was Sarah Burrows and I think she was born in Leigh Lancashire in December 1889. (I had bought theBirth Certificate for a completly different Sarah )
I now think her Parents were William & Mary Jane nee (Hodkinson) and she had a brother William & Sisters Martha & Ethel. I think her Mother was born in Haydock in 1868 and her Father William about 1871, but I am having no luck whatsoever in finding any of them in the Censuses :'(
Could someone please help me out with any of this, before I go totally DOOLALLY

Don't want to confuse you but have found a Sarah Burrows with fater William Burrows who has remaried to Francis Ashton in St Helens. would this be the one in 1901?

Do you have Sarah Burrow's marriage certificate? If so, what does her fathers name and occupation say, as this may help narrow down which William was her father?

I thought I was going through some medically disfunctional census disease
but realised that Lancashire, Leigh ED, institution 1 has not been transcibed on "A" I could only find ED, institution 7 transcribed.

I did a check on the other sub site and they have Sarah Burrows, Leigh transcribed.

Frustrating hey!!!

Thanks for all the Info
It isn"t my Sarah in the St. Helens marriage Gwen, Iv"e found she married Joseph Donnelly in March 1915 and as my Dad was Born in June 1915 looks like it was a rush job
I"m going to send for the marriage Cert. to help me find out more. That will at least give me her correct DOB as either one of the 2 Steve found, could be her
Thanks all of you, you"ve really helped me to get on the right track.
The really frustrating bit has been that although Sarah died well before I was born, I do remember her parents, but as a 4 year old going for Sunday Tea, they were just Grandad and Grandma Burrows 2 incredibly old people whose Christian names I never heard. Now I"m the Old Person trying to find out more about them.
