Hi, I have had a brickwall now for about 2 years, namely one Samuel Clarke, here's what I know, born 1865 in Co.Down, married in 1896 at Kilmegan Co. Down to Susannah McDowell, in 1901 she is in Ardrossan Scotland, with two sons, her mother, and her brother, but no sign of Samuel, I am trying to find his death, either in Scotland or Ireland. He does'nt appear on either the 1901 or 1911 census, for Scotland or Ireland and seems to have vanished, any help appreciated, Regards Del.

Hello Del,

Several members have spent time looking and so far a death for Samuel has not been found.

Sometimes trees have brick walls and some remain brick walls despite the best efforts to knock them down.

Regards,

Dave

Yes, everyone has at least one tough one. Come back to it in a few months. Post again and some new member might have some luck.
