So where are they in 1911? Did they also go to Australia?

Son Arthur arrived in Australia after 1911 census - 1911-1915 ???

Or have I got the wrong Arthur in 1911. Did the whole family go to Australia between 1901 and 1911?

Is this the same Arthur as the one with family in 1901? Kate is single so how is Arthur a 'son' as an ADAMS not a WHITE like William?

Oh. As of 1915 Arthur's mother was living in Hamstead. So did his father die before 1911? Perhaps his mother was a widow in 1911.

I can't see Sarah/Elizabeth in Hamstead in 1911.


I can't see a Sarah or Elizabeth WEBB born 1853 +/- 2 in Hamstead.

Arthur listed his mother not his father as NOK in 1915. Service record say mother was living in Hamstead in 1915.

I can't find her in 1911.

Everything in post #5 seems to be correct so I'd say the marriage to JUPP/TUPP is the right one.

William J and Sarah E.

The tree has JUPP but how can you tell which one was wrongly transcribed? The marriage or the FreeBMD index entry?

The FreeBMD image is a typed page under J.

Arthur is by himself in a single room at Address: 3 Lutton Terrace, Flask Walk, Hampstead in 1911.

Kate WHITE and son William are actually at #2.

The birth reg on FreeBMD is JUPP.

I don't know if Arthur's brother William also ended up in Australia. Can't check for a death because NSW BMD is off-line this weekend. Unplanned outage and getting to be rather annoying. The only reply they give is that the emails will be forwarded to the web administrator.
