My dad has seen this movie and commented on it and said it was worth watching.

The Potato Factory
Based on Bryce Courtenay's novel of the same name, this four-hour miniseries tells the story of Ikey Solomon, his wife Hannah and his mistress Mary, who get caught in the criminal world of early 19th-century London and the convict settlement of Van Diemen's Land in Australia.

Im trying to find this movie. I have been to my local video hire shops and they dont stock it - outdated apparently:rolleyes:

I have checked on the internet to buy it but the prices range from $26 to $29. A bit more than what i want to pay to watch something once:rolleyes: E Bay had some for $9.95 which is more my price:biggrin: but that finished back in August:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Who would have thought trying to find one movie for the right price would be such a hassle:rolleyes: Maybe i should just get the book:biggrin:

Fry onions and a few spring onions with plenty of black pepper.
When nearly done add some sweetcorn and when cooked add a tin of tuna or flaked fresh tuna if you are the Queen:)
Cook slowly so it dosnt burn.......mix well, dont add salt because the tuna has enough.
After boiling potatoes mash well with a knob of butter or marg and a tad of hot milk or cream.....season the potatoes with a little pepper and salt.
Put the Tuna and onions into a pyrex dish or oven proof dish and then add the potato on top.....sprinkle with a grated cheese of your choice.
Put into a medium oven for 45 mins.......then dish up with a little fresh veg or i go for some sliced tomato's which are put in the oven on a tray with touch of olive oil and black pepper and cooked for the last 15 mins while the potato dish is cooking.

Easy cheap and potatolishus:biggrin:
