I have a family that seem to disappear from the 1911 Census! Just tried several times. If you can find them on it please tell me what you entered and I will purchase the credits for a print out.

Parents.
Henry Norman Arber. Born 1876 Newington. Died 1963 Islington.
Maria Jane Arber (nee Pearmain) Born 1877 Southwark. Died 1952 Islington

There are seven children, but the one I am interested in is:
Harold William Arber. Born 1902 Highbury. Died 1952 Southgate, London.

Nearest addresses I have for this period are:
1902. 27 Canning Road, Highbury.
1952 50 Canonbury Road, Islington.

Thanks for any help.

Yes they are in the 191@ census, I'm not sure of the copyright issues to post results here.
I will send you a pm.

Re: The Vanishing Arbers! #2

As Harold William Arber, born 1902 Highbury, is not listed with his family in 1911 a further thought occurs? Rumour has it that he was a "Blue Coat Boy", i.e. Christ's Hospital. Would he have been at that establishment at 9yrs of age and if so would he still be listed on the 1911 Census? Or were Blue Coat School pupils left of the Census?

Hi I can only speak from personal experience where I have found pupils listed, inmates, nuns, prisoners and military personal.
Perhaps one of our members may have more input.
Where was the Bluecoat school located please?

Cheers

Hello Ozn and others,

Info HERE:

I have one in my tree who was at that school at age 7 but that was in 1821. :D
And his brother at age 8 in 1824.
