Hi, I’m relatively new to researching my Irish roots, and would like to know. The best source to search St.Michaels, Limerick.
I’ve found some
I’m trying to find more information about Thomas Nolan, b. 18th Sept 1841 St. Michaels parish, Limerick.
He enlisted in the army at Fermoy in Sept 1855, aged 14
His army number was #866 and served in the 80th Regiment.
He had a son Thomas born in Hong Kong in 1875.
I’m trying to find a wife for the elder Thomas, a baptism, and any more children, as I believe a daughter of his was my gt grandmother - only found through DNA
Please search my initial thread years ago for the full story!
