Thomas Rostron, his wife Alice and their daughter Mary had sailed from Liverpool on 14 September 1840, aboard the ship Brothers. They arrived at Port Jackson on 11 March 1841. Thomas was a bricklayer and publican but for a year “was employed by Mr. A. B. Smith of Smith’s Rivulet, Gammon Plains near Merriwa, NSW.

Army General or even William Booth, General of Salvation Army ??

Groom's Father: William Rostron, Weaver * another tree has Mary Comptire ?

I've found a tree that has no marriage for William to Mary or George to Mary.

GRO Reference: 1841 D Quarter in THE PRESTON UNION Volume 21 Page 407

There is no death in Lancs in 1841 for a George Booth aged abt 43.

GRO Reference: 1853 S Quarter in BOLTON UNION Volume 08C Page 127

If father is deceased as of 11 Mar 1841 then he was not buried Dec 1841.
