Hi Geoff.
Please email a copy of that Indenture.
Stephen Angel - no. 106507 - born 5/11/1830 Paisley. Became Apprentice aged 15 - when unemployed resides in Paisley.
Issued at Glasgow 19/5/1845 - physical description 5'8", brown hair, fair complexion, hazel eyes.
Port numbers indicate Greenock.
The ticket before or after that is another lad from Paisley and the port numbers /vessels are the same (hard to trace the name of the vessels from the rotation mumbers) so they travelled together.
Don't know why but that's one year out. He was born 5 Nov 1831 according to the fiche in Paisley Library.
Also a Seamans Ticket for brother Thomas. Born 1820 but ticket says 1823. Also Greenock and he made only one voyage it seems.
