DEATH
COLEMAN.-On the 15th December, at the residence of her son-in-law (J. Soutter, Albion), Mary, widow of the late J. S. R. Coleman, of Cressbrook, aged 54 years.

Death 10 Jan 1912/B15271 Cairns David - Thomas Cairns - Janet Draper

Burial not on ACI (Australian Cemeteries Index) or BCC (Brisbane City Council) sites.

David arrived in 1852 with his family and he died in 1912 and I can't find anything else.

I think I'll sleep on that!

Yes thanks. Lots of the Qld. ones in my tree have date of death off BMD and not off death notices so early funerals/ burials are a problem. Usually funeral notices can't be found.

Thanks. That's 2 sorted.

Curious middle name - possibly taken from an aunt ???

1886/C9021 Coleman Janet Cairns - Samuel - Catherine Jones

Is Samuel a brother of John S R ?

Or am I one generation out? Grandmother's name.

Death 1945/B1914 Coleman Samuel - John Spooner Rackham - Mary Cairns

Birth 1910/C10460 Coleman Thomas Spooner Rackham - Thomas John - Alice Kate Trotter

So Spooner and Rackham come from way back.

John died near Esk so he should be buried in Somerset Council area.

Mary died in Albion so could be buried anywhere.

I wonder if Thomas's father was a Samuel. The name Spooner and Rackland seem to be blending in with the name Samuel alot.

John might have had a brother by the name Samuel. They all seem to be in the same area around esk at one stage.
