I can't find anything on the NSW Archives site re a convict Thomas Campbell so can't confirm anything yet.

I can find nothing on the NSW Archives site re the convict - no arrival, no ToL, no Application to Marry and no CP.

Thomas Campbell, one of 189 convicts transported on the Duke of Portland, January 1807.
Sentence details: Convicted at London Gaol Delivery for a term of 7 years on 21 May 1806.
Vessel: Duke of Portland.
Date of Departure: January 1807.
Place of Arrival: New South Wales.

Just curiou sbut.. he was born in Westmorland yet 12 years later was guilty of theft in London. Is it one and the same person?

I'm not sure at all emeltee. I have found nothing yet to prove the Thomas father of Harriet in post #1 is the same person.

I've found nothing yet to show that Thomas the convict per 'Duke of Portland' ended up in the Camden area of NSW.
