Ok, it's possible Elizabeth born 1830 married three times but not everything fits.

Cotton Valley is a long way from Pejar/Middle Creek.

CROOKWELL, Saturday.-An old woman named Mary Gray, aged 83 years, who has been a resident of Middle Creek, near Crookwell, for many years, ...
Closer to Crookwell than Goulburn.

If it is the same family George Gray [presumably Sr] and John Bristow bought land in the Gullen area which is fairly close to Pejar..

Cotton Valley, now Gundary Plains.
If that is correct it is south of Goulburn and not near Pejar/Cotta Walla/ Middle Creek.

Marriage clearly has Cotton Valley not Cotta Walla.

A bit of a puzzle.

Grabben Gullen is W of Pejar.

Yep a bit vague, some of the areas are difficult to come to terms with, being less well known. The explanation in post #20 indicates that Cotton Walla and Cotton Valley are the same place, though that may just be that person's interpretation.

Cotton Valley, now Gundary Plains may not be correct.

It all seems to be around Pejar.

Cotton Valley mentioned in Trove in 1834.

the county of Argyle, at Cotton Valley, at the Upper Wollondilly.
Ok, that has to be near Pejar and near the dam on the river.
