I have no birth/baptism or death for William or Anne.
There is a tree that has this..

"Death
1867
12 Sep
Age: 38
Islington"

If correct this could be her..

Deaths Q3 1867
Martyn Annie
36
Islington
1b 218

No burial or probate leaping out..

The tree has him married to a Janie Roberts [unsure if this is the cousin as her age is all over the place in the censuses] in 1890, not validated, if correct there is this:

Marriages Q1 1890
ARCHER Thomas
Martyn William
Roberts Janie
Vickery Alice
Edmonton
3a 337

1891
Civil Parish: Bodmin
Ecclesiastical parish: Bodmin
Town: Bodmin
County: Cornwall
RD: Bodmin
Sub RD: Bodmin
ED: 4; RG12; Piece: 1816; Folio: 33; Page: 16

William Martyn 62 [b. Ruan Lanihorne. Retired manufacturerer]
Janie Martyn 43 [b. Veryan, Cornwall]
Elizabeth N Thomas 17 servant

In 1871 Jane Roberts says she was b. Ruan Lanihorne

Apparently he arrived in Australia in 1884 but didnt come to Sydney until 1887.

He came to Australia in 1884, established himself in business in a country town and pioneered the way for the establishment of the weekly half-holiday, now universally recognized throughout Australia. In 1887 he came to Sydney, in order to read for the Bar.

Thanks Geoff.

Thanks gibbo.

He was in Goulburn before he moved to Sydney. Before that on the gold fields:

In the earlier days he was with Mr. C. H. Garland, the pioneer of New South Wales gold-dredging fields-Araluen, Turon, and the Macquarie Bottoms ...

Don't know how Edgar would fit in. No death as a MARTYN in NSW.

Census as per post #3 thanks Geoff. They should be the right bits from FS.

I have a photo of daughter Alice born 1892 sitting on her grandmother's lap.

The Sydney Morning Herald - Saturday 4 June 1892 p.1
Births.
MARTYN.-May 21, at her residence, The Glen, Randwick, the wife of Thomas H. Martyn, of a daughter.

And a photo of Alice when she was about 20.

Both in the Furner album in my profile.

I hope I have the permissions set correctly so mods and 'friends' can access.

Thanks Geoff.

Probably Nankivell not Vankivell.

1851 is the missing one thanks. It's a pain on FS with no dob range. Why do they limit 1851 so you can't input an age range?
