There is also a Thomas Hastie born in Scotland abt 1880. In 1891 he is with parents Thomas and Isabella living in the civil parish of Kensington, London. RG12 Piece 24 Folio 152 Page 23
If this is the same Thomas as in 1891 he is living in the civil parish of Frinton on Sea Essex with wife Sarah Ann (born Kensington).

I presume that second reference is to 1901. Can only find one in 1911:

There are at least 3 when you get to 1901 [I say that because 2x trees have his birth as 1890 but that can't be right], notwithstanding those in other areas. He doesn't appear to be in Middlesex, I'll have another look..
