I'd like a look up please for them in 1841 and 1851 to narrow down the search in shipping records. I can't see them as HEBORN or HEBUIRN.

They arrived in Australia. ???

Hello Barbara,

Thanks for looking. It's one of those names bound to be mistranscribed.

All I know is that spouse Elizabeth was buried in Geelong Cemetery in Victoria in 1854 and that Thomas remarried in Victoria in 1857. I don't have a copy of his death certificate so I can't say if it mentions how long he lived in the colonies.

I know of only one child but they may have had more - Thomas b. abt 1830 Kent who also died in Victoria some years before his father.

I have found no reference to any of the family in Australia prior to the death in 1854 of Elizabeth. I have nothing to say they arrived before 1851 or before 1841 census.
