A Essie D Jenkins marries a William Gregg 1929 Katoomba NSW
1930 ER has Essie and Willia (a labourer) at Jenolan Caves - Oberon.

William vanishes after 1937 and Essie's last ER is 1963 at 64 Govetta Leap Road with a Kathleen Hilary Gregg (comptometrist) is with her.

Even if I get a copy of the 1926 marriage and it says Thomas was a widower it won't tell me the date or give me the name of his first wife.

Try from a different direction:
