If its the right fellow, the last time i find him is in 1919 for breaking and entering, after that he is only mentioned in articles to do with the divorce and her saying she doesnt know where he is.

Yeah, it is a weird one.. the news article mentions he had issues 4 years after their marriage, probably accounts for them being separated by 1913.

The Cumberland Argus and Fruitgrowers Advocate (Parramatta, NSW : 1888 - 1950)
Sat 12 Nov 1910
Thomas Joseph Jenkins was charged with that he did desert his wife, Jane West Jenkins, and leave her without means of support. That case was withdrawn, and the defendant was re-charged under the Deserted Wives and Children's Act. It had been arranged, Mr. Todhunter said, that the defendant should pay 6s per week, the first payment to be made on Monday next.

Post #18 from Val mentions a Hayes family and that is the name on the piece you emailed next to sister.

I reckon we have the right family.

Im trying to check out the QLD death but cant find a notice in Trove so far.

If he'd alienated himself from family, details such as age, middle name and parents may not have been known by an informant

I did think about the dates, but if his whereabouts weren't known, it is difficult to say if he was alive or dead!
