NEWBERRY Thomas Newton - St Geo South 1d 126

Middle name is actually Newington.

I have the burial records for John (1832) and spouse Sarah Newington GILES (1843).

I also have the burial record for daughter Sarah Bachelor (1847) but no record of the death/burial of spouse William SWALLING. Sarah is with two of her children in 1841 but no sign of William. John is probably their last child:

JOHN GUSTAVUS NEWBURY SWALLING - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Birth: 14 MAY 1822

so it looks as though William died between 1821 and 1841 if someone could look for a burial please.

----

The next daughter Mary Giles married Joshua WEST on 10 Sep 1833 and no trace of either has been found so far after that.

Thomas Newington NEWBERY married 3 times.

Second spouse Elizabeth (nee MOORE) died between 7 April 1831 (the birth of a daughter) and 11 Nov 1845 (date of 3rd marriage) or earlier if there is a waiting period ? 3 months ?? before someone can remarry.

I'd like a look up for a burial for Elizabeth please.

Hi Dave,

A possibility for William in 1841.

Greenwich Hospital

William Swalling age 68 pensioner born 'E' (England)

There is a death for a William Swalling district Greenwich year 1847 Greenwich.

There is also a marriage in 1838 for a William Swalling district Greenwich, so looks like there could be more than 1.
