In Ireland, but born Bucks.
Hi folks.:)

Could anyone find Thomas Parsons in the 1891 census please. His spouse is Susana, b.1842, Haddenham, Bucks.

1881 census in Princes Risborough.
1901 census in Brighton, Sussex.

Thanks, Steve.:)
No sign of them in the 1891 Census but loads of adverts in the news papers throught the 1880's for Thomas Parsons and his Lion Steam Brewery in Princes Risborough.
Yes. Built in 1834. He owned the Red Lion Pub, in Whiteleaf Village, a mile from P.Ris. He inhertied it from his father. But, Thomas never a had any children to pass it all on to. Hence, the Brewery was named after the Pub. He adopted a child named John, born 1871 Aylesbury, and daughters Kate and Clarice both born in India.
Thomas died in 1906, and the brewery was taken over by Welch Ale Brewers in 1900. But it is said that it was used as a depot, not brewing. In 1920 Watneys bought out Welch Ales.

My Grandfather worked as drayman at the Brewery for years.
