So we have in 1861 Thomas Stowe living in the RD of Blything close to Emma Smith whose mother's maiden name is Sewell. Surely they must be the couple who married in Blything in 1862?

I'd say he is ruled out by pob and occupation but since my Thomas has not been found in 1861 (he would be a widower - remarried 1862) it would be wise to check.

This is not the one who was the engine driver.
