Hi all
I'm back again, looking for evidence of my Gx3 GF Thomas Sutton in London.
After extensive research, I've determined that he was a convict, transported in 1825 on the 'Asia', to Sydney, NSW
He was assigned to at least 4 masters that I can find .... 2 of them were Shoemakers.
My Thomas was a Shoemaker, Bootmaker and Boot Closer in all the records I have found.
He was married twice, 1st in 1837, while still a convict ... he attained Conditional Pardon in 1848.
The 2nd marriage was to my Gx3 GM Sarah Harmond (Hardman, Harman) in 1854.
All tree makers have his birth (prob baptism) as 12 Jun 1805 at St Bartholomews Exchange, London
There has been no documentation shown to prove this
... can someone help me ??
Gail
