According to FreeReg their first child was born 1805. There is this marriage

Thomas Whitehead/Catherine Whiffin 15 Dec 1804 Higham.
Bride and groom both signed and the witnesses were William and Elizabeth Whitehead.

Higham looks to be about 6 or so kilometres from Chatham.
