May I expand on my search for Mrs Hammersmith? She is mentioned in a diary, in Liverpool in 1888. The author of the diary once worked and spent time as a young man, in and around Stepney where I know Emma Orbell was married to George Hammersmith in 1856. I do not want to manufacture history but can there be any link? Thanks.
