I just wanted to thank Family History UK for flagging up this programme a few weeks back. As a result of seeing the article here, I contacted the programme and was delighted when they expressed an interest in a story from my family history of how a gravestone I found in North Yorkshire led me to discover a South African connection to my tree that I never suspected.
Sadly, I didn't get the chance to plug my Harry McFry Investigates story!
Never mind - I seem to do a good job plugging it elsewhere!
Thanks again to FHUK for highlighting this show. It's available to listeners outside of the UK via the BBC Radio 4 website, and can be listened to live from there, or at any time over the next week using the admirable 'listen again' facility.
Kind Regards
