Trade Directory help please

I dont know anything about trade directories for Australia or if they excisted for the years im looking for.

George Gibson
took up some land at Bungeworgorai Creek near Roma Qld around the 1870 to 1890. He planted a vineyard there. I am trying to find if this vineyard had a name?? On the electorial register it just states address as Bungeworgorai Creek.
Would anyone know about trade directories or where i can look to find this info out?

Hello gibbo,

Nothing is on-line and most of the stuff is only on fiche so unless you have someone who can visit the SLQ then you will have to hope within the 2 hours they allocate that the request service will find something of use to you:

Thanks Dave. I hope i can or they can find something for me. I have dealt with the state library before and they are terrific and nothing is a problem for them to check so maybe a email to them might solve a few quiries.

UPDATE: Roma Council has just contacted me and they have most of the informaton i was looking for. The also included the information of a programe i can download and gave me the co-ordinates of where to find the property on this programme.
