Hi

I can help with the 1848 Turner/Price marriage record but can't see a way to attach the image.

Also I have info from a passenger record of some sort (maybe inbound to Melbourne but can't find the trace to the source)
Samuel (school master as employed on voyage) and Eliza (head matron as employed on voyage) left Plymouth 6 Nov 1849 arrived on Derwent at Port Phillip 25 Feb 1850 (112 days).
Both read and write.
Age described as 28 and 30
Episcopalian.
With 9 month “son” Francis (actually, I believe, female Frances)

Regards
Steve

Hello Steve,

One more post and your user name turns green and attachments and Private Message system and other features will be available to you.

Re attachments, the system limits the size (kb) of files to reduce server load so sometimes images are unreadable when you try to zoom in. End quality depends on the nature of the image.

That's curious. This is what I have so we'll have to sort out the reasons for the differences:

Samuel Turner
Est Birth Year: abt 1822
Age: 28
Arrival: 25 Feb 1850
Port: Port Phillip Bay, Australia
Dep Port: Plymouth
Ship: Derwent
Nationality: English

Eliza Turner

TURNER Samuel - 'Derwent' 1850 Port Phillip and Eliza and family Reel 2145, [4/4817] Page 79

Taken from the image on the NSW State Records site.

Samuel 28 Draper Sandback Cheshire Ch. of England Read&write
Eliza 31 Wife Sandback Cheshire Ch. of Rome Read&write
Francis Inft. Sandback Cheshire Ch. of Rome **

Inft. written in the Male column. I have not checked if that's an error.

This is the only birth reg I can find in Cheshire but not sure it fits:

Births Jun Qtr 1848
TURNER Francis Ellwood Wirral 19 364
