Hi

Trying to find any info on Edward Tyson b circa 1718. Resided Brantrake Farm Cumberland. His son Nicholas born 1738 lived there until he was 40, when he then farmed at Yeathouse farm. Nicholas was my 4x Great Grandfather he married Esther Crosthwaite Nov 1766 at Muncaster. This seems to have been a double wedding with her sister Jane who married a William Walker. Witness brother Henry Tyson. Any help on this one please.

Hi Cressida

I cannot find Nocholas's birth on the IGI in c1738. I take it that you dont have any info on his mother?

This would help in searching for Edwards marriage. There are a few Edward Tysons born c1718 in the Cumberland area on the IGI.

Sorry for the delay my line has been down for a few days.

The answer is I dont know who Nicholas's mother was, my only info to date is that dad was yet another Edward Tyson.
