Is there a site with the UK Parish Records which is searchable online?
Have looked in "London Docklands" and found birth of CHARLES PETER ABBOTT 1826 and a JOHN THOMAS ABBOTT 1828 - both showed parents as JOHN THOMAS and MARGARET. (maybe brothers??)
My CHARLES named his first son JOHN THOMAS.
How do I find out if this is the right person.
Found a birth for JOHN THOMAS ABBOTT in1774 - this would make him 52
when Charles was born - seems a bit old (???) unless there were a few other
children before Charles.
Anyone have any clues???????? Regards, Dawn
