Can somebody offer some advice on where to find UK newspaper archives from 1800s.
I am researching my family in the Surrey area and was hoping to search news papers to see if there is any mention of them. I know its a long shot but its worth a look as you never know what you may find.

Hi there, which newspapers are you interested in? try the following -
http://www.genuki.org.uk/search enter newspapers in the search and see what comes up. Lots of newspapers have editions going back often to the very first issue. The times digital is online if you google you should get the address, you could even try your local library

I have family living in Teddington/Surrey in the 1800s and would just like to search and see if there is any mention of any of my family i know its a long shot but its worth a look.
