Hello Community, i have been searching around and unable to find a death certificate for the following 2 people

Ada Louisa Jefferies Born: 1886 in Fulham - No marriage found

Ada Martha Jefferies Born: 1866 in Kensington - Married William Thomas Collyer

I believe Ada Martha remarried after her husband passed but unable to find a marriage so it's hard to find the surname for the death index search.

I would appreciate it if anyone could find any information regarding the 2 persons.

Hi,

Ada and Sidney Nicholas are on the 1939 register under Nichlas. The ages seem to match. Ada born 1886 and Sidney 1888. Theres a Sidney Nicholas stepson with family called Scarborough in 1901 Fulham. Really struggling to find Ada Martha on the census. There is a marriage in 1928 between Ada M Collyer and Frederick J Parsons in Sussex.

Very nice find Julie, i'm just trying to piece together...

Ada Louisa married Sydney Nicholas..
Sydney is the "step son" to the "Scarborough" family.. Ada Louisas mother was a Scarborough.
I'm confused how this makes "Sydney" the step son.

Other than that, it's a very great find and thank you for continuing to look into it but what do you think about what i mentioned?

Do you have Ada’s date of birth as it should be on the 1939 census. As I dont subscribe am not able to view the image. By the way looks like it was Sidneys mother who married into the Scarborough family as she and Sidney came from Wiltshire. Thought I’ll mentioned it before getting side tracked again. :)

Thanks again, very interesting and confusing at the same time haha. All I had for Ada Louisas birth was October, which matches the birth month given on the 1939 census.

There is a Ada M Collyer born about 1865 on the 1901 census in Rotherhithe.
Are you able to view the census image?.

Going by a marriage for a Ada M Collyer to Frederick J Parsons - Horsham - 1928. There is a death registration for a Ada M Parsons - 1934 - Registration District - Brighton - born 1866.

I've just had a look and if i'm looking at the right census, the 1901 census, Ada Martha is living with a Frank Collyer as his wife. i believe she married a William Thomas Collyer.

William Thomas Collyer died 1896 registration Windsor Berks. Same district as son William Arthur Collyer birth registration. Do you know what happened to William Arthur? A death registration for a William A Collyer, born 1894 - 1915- Brentford, Middx.

Very nice finds, unfortunately i don't know much about this family as i've just started researching it. MY main priority on my tree is "Jefferies" however i'm focusing on Blood relations, Ada Marthas kids i believe fall into this category :)
