Hello everyone,
My apologies if this is in the wrong section. At the British Red Cross we are working on an exciting project where approximately 244,000 VAD nurse index cards from World War One are being digitised and stored in an online database that is free and accessible to everyone. Here's a link to our project's micro-site:
http://www.redcross.org.uk/en/About-us/Who-we-are/History-and-origin/First-World-War
Presently, it is possible to search for surnames beginning with A and B, and some names beginning with C are also available now. We are carrying out this project with the kind assistance of volunteers, so if you'd like to help, please let me know. If you have any questions, fire away.
Thanks for reading,
James
