Title: Joshua Vickers, one of 250 convicts transported on the Ratcliffe, 25 July 1848.
Details: Sentence details: Convicted at Lancaster Boro of Liverpool Quarter Sessions for a term of 10 years on 16 December 1844. Ticket of Leave.
Vessel: Ratcliffe.
Date of Departure: 25 July 1848.
Place of Arrival: Van Diemen's Land.

Further to my last Familysearch has a marriage at Manchester Cathedral on 18th Oct 1830 between a John Vickers and a Dinah Hulse.

That looks like the family. Wish there were some baptisms though to strengthen the case.

I wonder if the order of the names proves to be correct with James and Henry younger than John.

It's not that I can't read the record - there is no mother listed.
