Hi Guys.

There is something going wrong when I load a forum page.

I'm getting a hijack to a page asking for me to update my Java. Installing it from the page, gives me a Virus warning, from my Avast Anti Virus program.

I've just checked my Java version, and it's up to date, so I have no problem.

This first happened last night and has happened twice today.

Can someone check out this hijack, so users don't get directed to this bogus page.

I ran your suggested program, and I'm:

Verified Java Version
Completion checkmark
Congratulations!
You have the recommended Java installed (Version 7 Update 45).

I had a different page open this evening, and I think it might be, triggered by the banner adds. or a tracking cookie. The one I had earlier hijacked the page, this evening, it opened a new tab on my Firefox browser.

I've just found the link from this morning, as I said, it's not safe!

Link removed on the off chance it is unsafe. Just been cautious

The link in your (was in) goes to cldlr.com which appears to be a 'transfer site'.
So definitely a no no, the site is run by godaddy, so you could send an email to them telling of your woes and they may stop the site.

Hi Everyone.

It's just happened again, when I tried to read the last reply.

This time I took a screenshot of the offending hijack page, so you all know what to look out for.

I'm not doing much on other sites, and I cleaned all the Bowser history last night just in case.

Hello Everyone.

Recently, the problem has gone away, but I've just been Hijacked twice in the sapce of a few seconds, while trying to read one of my posts, which is very complicated. I was already on the page and my screen went blank, and my Avast Anti Virus poped up to say it had blocked an attack on my PC.

Infection Blocked
URL: javanet2014.com I have deleted most of the URL to prevent anyone clicking on it. Again just been cautious.
Infection: URL:Malware

Relax, your avast! just saved you from a virus.

Please Beware!
