DEATHS
On the 29th April, at his residence, Charleville, Mulgoa, of effusion of the brain, ROBERT WALLACE, aged 55 years.

I don't know if Robert married.

I have very little on William. This may be his marriage but probably not his death. That means there is more than one William.

Death 6200/1872 WALLIS WILLIAM J - JOHN - MARY - PENRITH

Regards,

Dave

Thanks gibbo. :)

No I don't have any of the children. Didn't know he married until 10 minutes ago. Looks like I have reason to go to the library and look up some baptisms.

They married in Ireland I presume or on board the vessel.

Much better than the other one in Penrith in 1872. :2fun:

The 1888 death is not in Ryerson.

The tree has no marriage for William. Looking in BDM there are just too many possibles.

4225/1879 WALLIS JOSEPH AGE 93 YEARS DIED BATHURST BATHURST

There are two sisters also. One of the sisters may have married a cousin.

We have no birth/baptism record for Richard Thomas. He is not listed in shipping record so he must have been the first born here but no reg. ???

Ok thanks. That solves one other puzzle - Malmsbury in the marriage I added to the previous post.

Thanks. Can't find the full date:

The Sydney Morning Herald - Tuesday 25 July 1905 p.4
IN PROBATE.
(Before Mr. Justice Walker)
Probate was granted of the wills of ... Richard Thomas Wallace,...

The Sydney Morning Herald - Saturday 8 August 1942 p.16
DEATHS
WALLACE.-August 6, 1942, at Orange, Ann Wallace, widow of the late Richard Thomas Wallace. Funeral at Orange 3 p.m. to-day Saturday.

Perhaps they married as WALLACE - WALLIS so as not to appear to be cousins. :)

Can you find Richard Thomas in a tree?

Wondering if someone has his birth.

The witness John Wallis would be Ann's father but I'm wondering about Elizabeth Jones.

Thanks.

That would seem odd that they would not register one birth in the middle. The first in NSW I could understand if he was the eldest. But there is a wide gap. :)

V18421182 26A/1842 WALLACE ROBERT G ROBERT HENRIETTA
V18431100 27A/1843 WALLACE JOHN ROBERT HENRIETTA

V18471070 32A/1847 WALLACE EDWARD ROBERT HENRIETTA

Just recorded as 'full' age in marriage and no age at death.
