Thanks gibbo. :2fun:

I wonder how they get 1845? If that is correct then it's curious there is no reg.

I'll look up the baptisms on film at the local library tomorrow and they should have the abode for 1843 and 1847. The family may have moved.

Wondering if we can prove this is the right death - it's not Bathurst.

Death 11355/1915 WALLIS JOHN - JOHN - ANNE - SPRINGWOOD ?

John remarried after Hannah died.

Bathurst Free Press and Mining Journal (NSW : 1851-1904) - Wednesday 15 August 1860 p.2
MARRIED.
On August 9th at Evans' Plains near Bathurst, by the Rev. J. B. Laughton, John Wallis of Bathurst (formerly of Arthurstown, Ireland,) to Jane, only daughter of the late William Carroll of Bathurst.

Also, is this the right death for Jane? It's a long way from Bathurst.

Death 7104/1907 WALLIS JANE - WILLIAM - AGNES - WELLINGTON ?

Death 2586/1858 CARROLL WILLIAM AGE 57 YEARS DIED BATHURST BATHURST

Rev. J. B. Laughton is Presbyterian so this seems a bit odd if this is Jane's father:

Marriage V18421332 92/1842 CARROL WILLIAM - CROZIER ANN - LG= RC Bathurst, Kelso, St Michael's, Co. Bathurst

William may or may not have married in Australia. Jane may or may not have been born in Australia.

There could be 2x William CARROLL. The only definite is the 1860 marriage.

Children
5021/1861 WALLIS MARY A JOHN JANE BATHURST
5279/1864 WALLIS WILLIAM JOHN JANE BATHURST
5673/1866 WALLIS (MALE) JOHN JANE BATHURST
6360/1869 WALLIS (MALE) JOHN JANE BATHURST
6960/1871 WALLIS FRANCIS G JOHN JANE BATHURST

Can't be this one unless an error - marriage says father = William

Death 6947/1888 WALLACE JANE - JOSEPH DIED BATHURST BATHURST

Death 13897/1902 WALLIS JANE M - WILLIAM D - EDITH M M - GRANVILLE

Not in Ryerson so no age at death. No middle initial 'M' in birth reg of children.

Can you find Richard Thomas in a tree?

Wondering if someone has his birth.

The witness John Wallis would be Ann's father but I'm wondering about Elizabeth Jones.
