WALSH Family lookups please

Please can someone do a lookup for me has im stuck and getting two different women for the same person, first one Richard Walsh born aprox 1808 Darwen Lancashire married Mary Riley in 1827, children are
James Walsh b 1829 , John b 1828 , Walsh Walsh b 1833 , Lattice b 1831 , Grace b 1835 , Richard b 1842 Peter b 1845, on some baptisms mother named as Mary Riley, now in 1830 i have him has married to Mary Naylor so i am trying to get the right wife,all from Darwen i think and i was told that Richard and Mary Riley didnt live together until a few years later when she went back to him taking Walsh Walsh their son.
Any help or information on these familys would be very much appreciated

Hi Linda,

Seeing that two of the children were born after 1837, either one of the birth certificates will have the mothers maiden name.

Just had a look on the 1841 census.

Found this:-

Civil parish Blackburn
RD Blackburb
Sub RD Darwen

Mary Walsh age 40 occ washer? -----
Lettice age 11 occ cotton -----
Lace age 4 (looks like Lace and has been transcribed as Lace could be Grace)
James Riley age 18
Mary Ann Riley age 13

There is also another Walsh family on the same page.

Just wondering if the two Riley children belong to Mary, maybe she was married before!

Thank you for your help, maybe they both married twice,this is complicated
but i will stick at it and hopefully find who Richard married first

Nice little site Linda..................probably some nanes you know on it,very interesting info on addresses and what they did for a living..mainly in Darwin...regards Lee.
